Queensland's new dangerous prisoner (sex offender) law (2003) allowed prisoners to be held in jail after the release date. The court judged that there is a high possibility of bringing "serious danger" to the community. In other jurisdictions similar laws have been enacted that limit the release of prisoners judged as dangerous. Do you think this dangerous law is reasonable or irrational?
