Michael Black and Wolf Dance are novels that cover the themes of cross-cultural equality and respect. It also showed me the history of contemporary America. Reading this novel is a big adventure for me. After years of preparation, Michael Black wrote this book and completed it in 1981 over 9 months. This story took place in 1863 when the American Civil War began. The Union Lieutenant John D. Dumber knew that his injured feet were cut and committed suicide and horseback with a strange confrontation to attract enemies.
Michael Blake danced with a wolf and created a wonderful story about a soldier named Lieutenant danner. This story is written by a third party using the diary of Dunbar Lieutenant. The story talks about Buffalo, enemies of Comanche, leisure time of Comanche, society, family, religion, and clothes. In the novel, Dunbar met Communci Indians and learned how to live their way. The story happened during the Civil War. 18 excerpts in the novel and 19 quotes were used to determine the historical accuracy of dancing with wolves.

Inspired by a book about ordinary Indians, the scriptwriter Michael Blake (who died earlier this year) presented the idea of dancing with the wolf to Costner. Costner said he had deduced that he met him in Los Angeles performance class, wrote a novel instead of a script, and that the novel can produce studio interest more effectively than a cool script. So, Black wrote a letter on a friend's sofa (including those from Costner) and spent several months to sleep. "I really wrote the whole book in the car," Black said in a close-up postcard. When completed, Black submitted dance to several publishers to the wolf, and all publishers distributed his manuscript. Finally, after over 30 rejects, a small publisher named Fawcett accepted it.
