Social psychology surveys include interactive processes, small groups, attitudes and attitudes, and social problems
In this course, we will consider from two viewpoints of different emotional theory. (1) Differential emotional approach has strong evolutionary basis, (2) Social constructivist approach. Next, this course will conduct empirical research on various aspects of emotion such as expression, physiology, evaluation, emotional vocabulary. Finally, we will consider more concrete topics such as social interaction, culture, gender, personality, psychopathology.
Emiliana Simon - Dr. Thomas is the science director of the Great Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley. Together with Dr. Dacher Keltner, she co-hosted GX 101x: Happiness Science. This is a free 8-week large open online course on the edX.org platform that provides science-based practice for a meaningful and happy life. The course begins in September 2015 and will be offered as a self-study course again in December. We talked about Dr. Simon Thomas, the factors that influence happiness and what we can do for people to develop greater happiness in their lives.
Dacher Keltner is a social psychologist who saw many keen insights about the essence of our emotions and the foundation of that evolution. He is a professor at the University of California at Berkeley where he teaches "Human Happiness", one of the most popular courses for undergraduates. Based on this philosophy, Dacher Keltner will measure this ratio as a way of measuring happiness for individuals, partners, and even the whole country. The Jen ratio can be calculated as a simple score. The number of behaviors denying other actions (eg, actions to exclude others) is displayed in the denominator.
Dacher Keltner advocates Zen Romanticism by combining his views on scientific expertise in Jen ratio and emotion. This paper resolves the ancient problem of how people keep happiness. This view is influenced by the Confucian principle and the Western philosophy. According to Zen Romanticism, humans have evolved instinctive drive to positive emotions such as appreciation, joy, awe, compassion. The cultivation of these emotions enables people to reach a high proportion. While acting to achieve the same emotion in other ways, the high gen ratio, and the key to achieving happiness this time, is to pay attention to this sociable feeling.
