DACA Update (August 2018)

Children's Immigration Extension Measures (DACA) is an immigration option for private immigrants who came to the United States before 16 years of age. DACA does not provide legitimate permanent residency, but it provides the temporary protection from eviction, work permits, and the ability to apply for social security numbers.

As a supporter of immigrant youth, the Immigration and Legal Resource Center (ILRC) has long supported policies that will benefit undocumented communities. Through this work, ILRC has created the only comprehensive manual "DACA: Basic Legal Guide" on this subject. Provide training and technical support to support immigrant practitioners in the application process and advocate a broad and comprehensive DACA program at the federal level.

Congressional autumn meeting began yesterday and President Trump got the Congress in a difficult position and adopted legislation to amend the system in early 2018 and set a late child enrollment (DACA) program I decided to finish. This is a matter of legislative agenda of Congress. It will now be resolved as a legislator during the recession of August. The next few months will be the latest test of the ability of our legislators to effectively represent Americans. Citizens along the Gulf are eager for federal government support to rebuild their lives and communities. As we saw in 2013, the imminent closure of the government could make Federation employees unemployed and stop the main actions Americans rely on. Furthermore, debate over debt limit, tax reform, program re-approval, judicial appointment will get hot in the coming weeks.

On August 3, 2018, the Trump regime was ordered by a federal judge from D. C. To resume DACA. The Judge John Bates District Court ordered the Trump regime to resume "Child's Arrival Deprivation Action Plan" completely. The judge delayed the execution of the orders until 23 August and allowed to appeal to the government but he said that the Justice Department moved to rethink his previous decision on 24 April 2018 Denied. If the trump authorities were unable to provide a reasonable justification to end it, the judge threatened to withdraw the memorandum to completely resume the plan at the end of DACA. If the ruling takes effect on the 23rd day, the competent authority is required to accept a new application for those who meet the eligibility requirements of DACA.
