He is a candidate for doctoral course at the McGill University sociology department and currently is working on application of digital technology to his work. His current research project is investigating how workers are using digital media and technology for work and personal use at work. He analyzed how digitization in the workplace affects workers' experiences and exchanges, their private and social life, and the balance between work and life. Alex: Today's unique point is the rise of digital technology. I am watching a new way to do personal activities in my workplace. Since the early 1990s, a great deal of research has been done on how much the use of personal internet influences productivity.
Current research projects, such as indigenous people and Inuits, involve specific groups (research projects are not focused on M type); people infected with indigenous HIV / AIDS; young people; women; and , Double spirit, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender. Projects focused on specific population make up 73% of all research projects currently underway. Five research projects on HIV / AIDS and indigenous peoples, Inuit, and illegal people focus on indigenous communities. Two projects focus on Ontario's indigenous community, one in Quebec's James Bay Kerry and the other in the Northwest Territory's Trinco First Nations community. Three research projects focus on prevention programs, but the other two projects focus on interactions between cultures in indigenous communities and successful HIV / AIDS services.
