Culture during the 20s-40s: Great Gatsby

History shows that music, dance and fashion have a big influence on society and culture. Symbolic artists, entertainers, and decades of special events influenced many rebellious explosions against social norms. "Twentieth century of roar" (1920 - 30) had a great influence on the behavior of young people in the United States. I went from New Orleans to Chicago and later to New York. From the 1930s to the 1940s, a new youth culture was born under the influence of the confusion of the early 1920s. The 1920s was a major change and prosperity in many areas of society for many years; for example, a revolutionary change in music and people's attitudes.

Directed by Nick Callowe written by Scott Fitzgerald "Great Gatsby", "Great Gatsby" is a classic novel that allows readers to make grounder in their twenties when you see the rich life. This story is the story of Jay Gatsby, a new money man, Daisy Buchanan, an old money girl who got married, Tom Buchanan, Daisy's fraudulent husband. Jay Gatsby is a mysterious person with unlimited funds and throws a ridiculous party without reason. He was told that Gatsby, Daisy and Tom left Tom's house with Nick and Jordan, they eventually went to the suite at New York City Plaza Hotel (Fitzgerald 178). Tom began discussing with Gatsby about the bad habits Gatsby calls people "old-fashioned sports". This caused Gatsby to condemn him for inappropriate reporting that Gatsby was actually in Oxford. Gatsby allowed him to ask him any questions he wanted because he told Tom that he had gone to Oxford for five months because of his military plan.

Great Gatsby is in a fuss in the 1920s, focusing on men's lives such as Tom Buchanan and Jay Gatsby. But it also clearly outlines the lives of some women: Daisy Buchanan, Myrtle Wilson and Jordan Baker. On the surface, these ladies' lives can not be much different. Rich debut, Daisy struggled between her husband Tom and her first love Jay Gatsby. Myrtle is under the social ladder. He is bothered by Tom and wants to cross her website in his life. - Modernist writers of the 1920s showed a negative view towards this generation of women. Many people, including 'perfection' families, are experiencing disillusionment of American dreams. In the "Portrait D'UNE Index Femme" by the pound it clearly shows a man's view of a woman's disillusionment about his perfect life. F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Great Gatsby", the narrator is disillusioned with women in the 1920s.
