Cultural Immersion Activity

The first cultural immersion event I participate will go to St. Charles Catholic Church on Wednesday (March 5, 2014). I have a Catholic friend and I will go to church with me. In addition, I will let my friends join me, so I will not do anything I do not respect at church. Before going to church, I thought that I had to wear clothes, but my friend told me there was no need to dress for the Catholic church surprised me.

Cultural immersion activities are called cultural plummeting. They used this activity in sociology programs (Gillette, 1990), counselor education (Cook, 1990; Malcolm, 1990) and recent teacher education. Since 1989, the author has been using the cultural orientation of teacher training when incorporating it into the subject curriculum, but now some other teacher training universities use it. Teachers using cultural orientation tend to do as well, but there are some differences between these methods. In this article I will explain how he deals with this activity.

Immersion is defined as full participation in specific activities or benefits. If you read a good book and get lost in the world of that book and add emotions to the fate of the character, you will be involved in it and be crazy about it. If you are completely crazy about something, you feel that you can not stop thinking about it, and you will be absorbed in it. When immersed in the need for deep psychological involvement in certain things, many VR experiences can not achieve the promise of immersion. Because they actually do not involve users at all. The user is not a participant but a visitor of the virtual world and observes it but actually does not connect. Simply attracting the user's sight and hearing does not prove that the experience is expressed as "completely hooked up", it can not be an excuse for the lack of narratives.

This book is my first introduction to immersive journalism, a journalist's creative non-fiction, immersed in the world, culture, situation, or experiences I am not used to telling stories. This special book is actually a collection of interviews with Boynton and various immersive journalists during the creative process. Boynton's book also introduced me to Krakauer's work, one of the most famous immersive journalists there. His book "Into the Wild" also adapted to the big screen. But he took his reader to many worlds - I think it is a world I'm not interested in, but because of the dynamic writing of Crakaul - through books such as "getting into thin air" I am impressed.
