Cultural Differences between the West and East

Everyone on Earth has their own ideas, their own values, and their own moral code. Therefore it is natural that two people can have different views on a particular topic. Well, given the distance between certain cultures, it is clear that this set of beliefs is very different. The purpose of this paper is to compare western European countries such as Europe and the United States with the eastern world represented by East Asia and Southeast Asia. Most East Asians are traditional due to the influence of Confucianism and Taoism, but the West is more free and atheistic.

Please recognize that there are cultural differences in different regions of the same country. In the US, there are important cultural differences between West Coast, East Coast, Midwest, and Deep South. This is beyond the requirements of regional accents and clothing. These differences may not be obvious to untrained people, but in effect they require consistency with them. Along with the development of globalization, intercultural communication is essential for the open society where we are currently living. Therefore, cultural differences are everywhere. The culture between the East and the West is distinguished on a considerable scale. This means that not only opinions and thinking differ, but also that people's behavior in everyday life is different, and sometimes vice versa. In this article I first explore the reasons for cultural differences, then explain the differences between oriental and western culture using typical examples and finally adapt to various cultures.

In sociology, the East / West dichotomy is the difference perceived between the East and the West. Culture, not the geographical division, the boundary between the east and the west is not fixed, but it depends on the criteria the individual uses to use this term. Historically, Asia and Muslim countries have been seen as part of the east; the west consists of Australia, Western Europe, North America other than Latin America, and occasionally Latin America. It was used to discuss management, economics, international relations, and linguistics, and this concept was criticized for ignoring regional mix.
