Cultural Competence Assessment and Case Study

Experience learning is an important aspect of cultural ability and is recognized as a way to change attitudes. The study abroad program can provide this way for nurses to learn.

The results of the survey show that regional nurses are actually using cultural awareness, cultural hypersensitivity and cultural knowledge skills to provide culturally competent care. Cultural abilities are as important as clinical skills; if there is no healthy health assessment, it may provide inappropriate, ineffective or dangerous care. But cultural capabilities require a supportive corporate foundation that provides training, language support, and other professional medical services, formerly known as institutional aspects.
