The results of the survey show that regional nurses are actually using cultural awareness, cultural hypersensitivity and cultural knowledge skills to provide culturally competent care. Cultural abilities are as important as clinical skills; if there is no healthy health assessment, it may provide inappropriate, ineffective or dangerous care.
