Outline of intercultural communication In business, successful communication is the key to success. And becoming able to communicate is that we can connect with customers. This is why intercultural communication is very important to keep the business world global. Unfortunately, "The lack of knowledge about culturally defined rules and communication norms can lead to counter-effects if PR projects fail or worse" (Zaharna, 2001, Page 135). My research focuses on issues related to cross-cultural communication, and how recognition of culture, language, tradition, and business practices can enhance the benefits of globalization.

Intercultural communication is strategically important to the company due to the development of global business, technology and the Internet. Understanding intercultural communication is important for companies with diverse employees or companies planning to develop business globally. This communication involves understanding how people from different cultures talk, communicate and perceive the surrounding world. Intercultural communication within an organization involves understanding a variety of business customs, beliefs, and communication strategies. The main factors that affect intercultural communication are language differences, high-context and low-context culture, nonverbal differences, and power distances.

Cross-cultural business communication can be extremely helpful in building cultural intelligence through intercultural communication management and promotion, intercultural negotiation, multicultural conflict resolution, customer service, business and organization communication guidance and training. Foreigners are not the only foreigners to understand different cultures. Intercultural understanding begins with the project manager and contacts the service or content provider. The ability to communicate, negotiate and work effectively with people of other cultures is important for international business.
