Writing critiques is usually a response to creative works such as fiction, movies, paintings, poetry. Students assigned to the review task often encounter problems due to lack of writing skills. Other tasks require unbiased information, but the agenda of article criticism is totally different. Criticism is completely different from any other work. Through criticism, the professor wants to judge the writing power and expression style of the student. Criticism includes not only discussion but also actual analysis of literature. Before reading the discussion of this model critique write your own informal answer to criticism. What are its advantages and disadvantages?
