Critique of Olaf Breuning's Art Exhibition "Small Brain Big Stomach"

Olaf Breuning is a Swiss born artist currently living in New York. His exhibition "Cerebellar stomach" consists of mural paintings and wood carvings. Mural paintings are created with thick black lines applied directly to the wall. The wooden sculptures are blacked out and displayed as 3D drawings. The image of these works is manga, childish, simple, and one dimensional. When a person enters the gallery, I feel like entering an amusement park full of black-and-white murals and sculptures.
