The criminal decoration is a Hayward Touring / Arts Council Collection group exhibition curated by Yinka Shonibare MBE.

Famous in the UK - Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare MBE is known for the use of eye-catching colors and patterns among culturally thoughtful works. Shonibare has long been interested in exploring art history and post colonial themes.

This publication provides unique insight into the world view of Shonibare. The artist chose Adolf Loos' influential anti-decorative lecture, decoration and crime and inspired us from the collection of art committees and other major collections.
