Credibility of Newspapers

Newspaper credibility Since 1704, newspapers have been regarded as reliable sources, American newspapers called Boston Newsletters. Others are worried that the behavior of these new internet media may exacerbate public distrust over the media industry. Johnson and Kay (2000: 865) is doubting whether Internet reliability and Internet growth will further reduce traditional reliability level media due to misleading information and mischief spreading on the Internet Said.

Johnson and Kaye (2015) asks "Why depend on the media that people believe are untrustworthy?" They compared the cognitive differences between traditional news sites (newspapers and television) and social media (Twitter and Twitter).
