Creativity and Mental Illness

Men with creativity and mental illness call me crazy, but whether or not insanity is the most sublime wisdom - regardless of how glorious it is - they all improve profoundness or soul mood . Over the years, the link between creativity and mental illness was the focus of researchers. Psychiatric disorders have a major impact on patient creativity and patient expression. Many of the names well-known in the art world involve mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, mania, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. These diseases and their effects are found in the world's most famous paintings, literature and so on.

A study conducted at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2006 evaluated the relationship between creativity and mental illness. Subjects included healthy management (no art history, current mental illness), creative management (occupation / education, no current psychiatric disease), bipolar disorder group (combination of types I and II), and major depression Disease was included. Several standardized creative tests were done on these groups and the data was statistically analyzed.
