Creative Writing: Christmas Funfest

I woke up in a quiet house. There is no sound of Christmas music, there is no squeaking noise in the kitchen, and no one will open a gift. One thing that I can hear is the topic of a heater downstairs. But I still feel cold. I caught a glimpse of my right side and walked toward the empty bed. The blanket covers nearly the entire object, its edge is hidden deep inside the frame. When Pokey is not there, I do not know the meaning of protecting it. It seems that someone is preparing a welcome party for the deceased, and Porky may be dead now.

This is almost Christmas. Since I did not write Christmas cards, I did not officially say "Merry Christmas" and wrote on Merry Christmas cards that may be called Merry Christmas before.
