Creating a Reading Intervention for a Middle School Student

I am a bit worried about this project. This is to do something I have never done before, find difficulties in reading students, evaluate abilities, and intervene in students. Reading is such a huge skill, and there are many factors that contribute to the success of independent readers. When I work with my students, I noticed how important it is to identify the difficulty it is to read for some readers. I learned how to evaluate areas such as comprehension, listening comprehension, fluency, oral reading, telephone, vocabulary, spelling and pinyin.

Orchard middle school is pleased to announce this proposal for your review. I am looking forward to cooperate with you to provide a reading comprehension program for our students who has poor reading comprehension and is called "to read to succeed!" There are over 50 dangerous students in Orchard Middle School and their reading score is at least two years lower than the current grade level. Please read Succeed's goal. This program is aimed at improving the reading speed, reading speed, comprehension ability and reading comprehension of all students with low reading ability.

Reading is a very important course for junior high school students and English teachers. Since junior high school students read elementary school students' books, they changed to understanding various kinds of meanings, styles, and perspectives including fiction and nonfiction sentences. Writing exercises, reports, articles, and tests for junior high school students range from simple sentence structures and independent phrases to parallel and subordinate sentences. Junior high school teachers will introduce more complicated words to students, using implications and synonyms, logical paragraph changes, sentence structure and narrative structure, literary style, introduction of satire by classical literature and contemporary literature I will be in charge.

Unfortunately, not all kids enter the junior high school with the same ability, background, or support structure, teachers and parents feel very dissatisfied when the students struggle to read. However, the right combination of reading strategies and efforts for junior high school students and their families can improve the reading level. Children like reading when they are fun, not when they need it. Instead of assigning specific text, you can increase motivation by enabling junior high school readers to choose their books. Allowing junior high school students to choose from age-appropriate books will improve the enjoyment of their process.
