Crazy Horse Monument is a mountain monument that is under construction on private estate in Montenegro, Custer County, South Dakota, USA. It is managed by the non-profit Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation. The monument was engraved on Thunderhead Hill between Custer and Hill City, about 27 miles (27 km) from Mount Rushmore. The final size of the sculpture is planned to be 565 feet long, 195 meters (641 feet) long and 172 meters high (172 meters).
