Recently, I first attended the worship of United church. This is a very interesting experience, I am delighted that I did this as long as I can say that I did it. I grew up in various Canadian evangelical churches, including gospel freedom and Pentecostal gatherings, and always understood the United Church as a "nominal" Christian. Only one person spoke to me until I entered the main entrance and left the building after service. As their "positive church", there are lots of comments on their website, presentations, and announcements about their openness and welcome to everyone; that is why I decided to participate in this service is. But the word is empty. If I feel unwelcome and welcomed, I will not come back.

The Swedish Evangelical Church established the Swedish evangelization mission in Boone, Iowa in October 1884. In the same year, two Norway - Danish groups of Boston, Massachusetts and Washington State Tacoma began fellowship. By 1912 they established the Norwegian - Danish Evangelical Free Church Association. In June 1950, institutions in Sweden and Norway - Denmark participated in a merger conference at the Medicine Lake Conference Hall near Minneapolis, Minnesota. The two institutions represented 275 regional churches during the merger.
