Writing the fact of the birth of a person leads to a higher life rating than all the other groups. In Study 2, (N = 98) participants wrote writers against the facts about their birth or wrongfuls, and completed the measure of happiness again. Attribution of fate, estimation of probability, and luck are explored as intermediaries. Study 1 reproduces the influence of happiness, but it is not moved by the measured variable.
