Counseling: An Ethical Dilemma with HIV/AIDS

In the consulting field, clients must trust therapists and be able to disclose confidential information about themselves. In many cases, when a person receives counseling, that person becomes vulnerable and hopes to improve the quality of life. This is why confidentiality is very important in therapy. This is an essential part of helping to build trusting relationships between clients and therapists. One area where confidentiality investigation is very important is that clients have HIV / AIDS and involve third parties.

Conclusion As one of the NGOs for prevention of HIV / AIDS in the Philippines, the Remedios AIDS Foundation faces many ethical dilemmas, trying to overcome difficulties one by one.
