Cosmopolitan, Allure, Muscle and Fitness, College Basketball

In my field survey, I reviewed and analyzed four magazines: cosmopolitan, allure, muscles and fitness, college basketball. Two of the magazines are for women, the other two are for men. We have reached the conclusion that American culture develops mainly with money and our image. The American white culture is ethnocentric and seems to limit the number of other races in the media. According to textbooks, "ethnocentricism tends to use other criteria to judge other cultures" (Newman 113).

According to Merriam-Webster, Cosmopolitan means "with extensive international complexity". It is also a popular drink known for its gender. Therefore, cosmopolitan is definitely a magazine for single women seeking sexuality, fashion, and complex advice.
