Corruption of Wealth and Society through Geography in The Great Gatsby

Through "Great Gatsby", various places related to certain types of residents were introduced. Geography of the novel mainly includes four scenes: East Egg, West Egg, Ash Valley and New York City. Every place is in the east, Nick contemplates at the end of the novel, the story is actually "western" (Fitzgerald 176).
