Coronaqua is one of the major cities affected by the flood in 2016, residents of this area lasted a couple of weeks. Thirty semi-structured interviews, including gender and age-affected populations, were conducted for 15 households selected. As a data analysis method, a subject analysis method is used. The main issue derived from the data and information gathered in this study is that flood victims identify and use different coping strategies during the response and recovery phases, during which appropriate and effective national interventions are undertaken That means that it was not. There are no important assets that will be empowerment and resilience of dependents in affected communities and it is not a coping strategy to be considered through social work prisms.
