Convergence, Fan Culture, and Star Trek

Many scholars have their own views on what convergence is, but it is difficult to give a clear definition of convergence, since they all rely on the field of work they are involved in. Although there is not one agreed definition, Potter Steward may be told, "I can not define it, but I know the definition at the time it was displayed." This has been greatly demonstrated by a participatory culture like Star Trek. Star Trek has a long history of over 40 years.

A new phenomenon of fan novels as interaction of fans and fans was promoted and defined by "Star Trek" fans and their fans announced in the 1960 's. Nevertheless, Star Trek fans arranged original text from the beginning. Hell, Star Trek created a novel with Kirk / Spock fanatic in the 1960s and 1970s, and every new spin-off series will have a new gay fan. Though every effort of the show has to maintain its own opposite sex for 50 years, fans have avoided the concept and made themselves strange at the same time. I was the first generation I grew up on the Internet, but when I was still looking at Star Trek, I was a child, I still have nothing about fan novels and fan communities even when I'm still at age I do not know. I discovered that it was 11, I had never thought about pursuing a story about a relationship that did not exist in Canon. Of course, all classical relationships are gay. So, when I notice that I was watching Star Trek: Traveler, if 7 of 7 people appear on the screen my feeling will be faster, I do not know what to do.
