Ancient Greeks and Romans may be one of the greatest civilizations of the ancient world. These two civilizations flourished in their ancient environment and eventually achieved great prosperity in both cultures. It is for this prosperity that these ancient cultures made progress in literature, architecture, art and various other fields. These two civilizations also produced some of the most amazing writers, leaders and philosophers of the ancient world.

Roman civilization is usually classified as a classic Greek "ancient classic" Ancient Greece is a civilization that influenced the majority of ancient Roman culture. Ancient Rome has made a great contribution to the development of western world law, war, art, literature, architecture and language, and its history continues to have a major impact on the world today. Roman civilization dominated Europe and the Mediterranean through conquest and assimilation. Under the rule of ancient Rome, housing construction ranged from a very discreet housing to rural houses. Many cities built in Rome have huge buildings.
