Contrasting the Politics, History, Economics and Education of China and the US

China is a rapidly developing country in the 21st century and there is still a long way to catch up with developed countries. This is partly responsible for the differences between the two countries. On political side, they have various systems to operate. History, history differs between China and the United States. Economically, China has made major progress, but poverty and unemployment are still prevalent in the United States, and the United States is doing a better job to eradicate poverty.

This course focuses on the tremendous change China has experienced during the 8th and 14th centuries. In order to better understand the transformation of the Chinese from aristocratic society to literacy society, we considered this transformation from several historical perspectives of political history, economic history, social history, intellectual history and cultural history I will. Only one version of A HIS 471 can be used for credit. Prerequisites (prerequisite): HIS 177, 379, or coach license. The Advanced Research Program is a comprehensive, top-level program that is the culmination of the professions of students in history. It includes a thorough search for tools and concepts used by historians, expanding the skills that students build and practice in their previous history course.
