Continuing the Dream...in Africa

From the moment when I touched the asphalt in the Great Lakes Region of Illinois, I learned that my journey was just beginning. I am trying to become part of the world's most powerful military force, less than 1% of Americans have never existed. I kept my former heritage and took over from my mother and my father and their parents. After graduating from 11 days high school, I joined the army in the summer of 2009. I am small so I would like to participate, but I did not actually participate.

I grew up in Chicago, but I dreamed of Africa. When I was born, my family lived in Africa for decades. My father lived in Ghana and taught in the early 1960s after graduating from college. His cousin has taught in Nigeria for many years. My aunt worked as a doctor for decades in Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi.
