Government agencies, community senior programs, skilled living and nursing care facilities, and individuals working with the elderly at higher education institutions need to understand a variety of elderly (aging) tendencies, problems, and policies. In addition, they need to develop the skills necessary to provide the necessary services to the elderly at each workplace.
