For the first time during the meeting from 5th September to 26th October 1774, I petitioned the British government to rectify frustration. The second existed between May 10, 1775 and 1789, announced the Declaration of Independence and formulated federal provisions.

The Continental meeting held the first meeting before the revolution in 1774. When it resumed in 1775, it organized a war against the UK and eventually passed the Declaration of Independence.

The second Continental Congress consisted of 13 colonies following the first Continental Congress. Georgia did not participate in the first Continental Congress aimed at solving the punitive law passed by the British Parliament to punish the settlers of the Boston Tea Party. The 2 nd Continental Congress was held to solve the American Revolution, Georgia decided to send delegates to colonies. The 2 nd Continental Congress was held to examine colonial defense activities. The meeting decided that if complaints submitted at the first meeting were not resolved, each colony should establish a militia to protect the territory. Representatives of the New Year of 1776, George Washington, Virginia, and the Continental Congress were appointed Philadelphia as commander of the Boston Continental Army at the first continental conference. In December, the Virginia Patriots broke a positive British expedition in the fight of the bridge in the southeast of Norfolk. The newly elected 5th convention was held in Williamsburg from May 6th to July 5th 1776. Thomas Jefferson first met when John Adams visited Philadelphia in 1775 and attended the 2 nd continental conference. Meanwhile, John Adams was near Philadelphia from the first day of the Continental Conference. Meanwhile, he gained sufficient influence to select Jefferson as a small committee in charge of the Declaration of Independence and the preparation of federal provisions of New Republic.
