Context of the Bible Book

Biblical Background: The Book of Genesis starts with the creation of the Earth and all its creations. It continues to tell the story of Joseph and his family, an elaborately made and highly detailed story spanning approximately 14 chapters. Last year, I started to study not only to read the Bible as an ordinary book. I am using other instructions to refer to what I read in each chapter of the Bible. To understand the word of God, a background is necessary. I was a Christian throughout my life but I realized I knew nothing about Christianity. I believe that studying the Bible is a way to build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. When you do it in good faith, the Holy Spirit will guide your idea and you will understand the mystery of Christianity. Because the truth of the life hidden in Jesus Christ is deeper than what many Christian churches are preaching today.
