Pierre-François Galpin is a curator of contemporary art and is a former curator of the modern Jewish Museum. His interests overlap between photography, new media, and installation art, focusing on the concept art and the practice of storytelling. His recent exhibitions include the reshaping of Jewish folklore: artists as Maggid; inherited from generation to generation: take over memory and contemporary art; and CJM's Yud video project. Before joining CJM, we held an exhibition at CCA Watis Museum of Contemporary Art and SF agent. His work is published in "Exhibitors", "Art Practices", and the exhibition catalog. He holds a master's degree in curation practice at California Art University in San Francisco and a master's degree in urban policy from Paris Science University.
The exhibition was held by Paul Schimmel, curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art. In the 19th century, Nan Rosenthal, a senior consultant of the Department of Contemporary Art, held an exhibition in a big city. The installation design in New York was completed by Dan Kershaw, the graphic design was designed by Barbara Weiss and the lighting design was done by Clint Ross Coller and Rich Lichte, owner of the Metropolitan Art Museum Design Division. A catalog of exhibitions co-published by the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles and Steidl Verlag is available for hard cover ($ 75) and flat pack. This comprehensive, fully illustrated publication is compiled by Paul Simmel and Lisa Mark of Contemporary Art, and contributed by Thomas Crowe, Branden Joseph, Paul Simmel, Charles Stackey Also included.
The exhibition is co-sponsored by the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
