• As early as 2005 - 2010, the broadcast industry experienced a painful process of upgrading equipment from standard definition (SD) to high definition (HD). Today, due to extra cash, TV stations are not keen on upgrading cameras, recording equipment, broadcasting systems and antennas to ultra high definition (UHD). Therefore, UHD (4K) is mainly Internet technology.
