Cambodia's Biodiversity Conservation Evaluation Introduction Biodiversity conservation in Cambodia has been actively responding to international conservation efforts and land degradation and loss over the past few years (International Conservation Organization 2004). Multinational NGOs such as the World Bank, international financial institutions and international protection agencies have played an important role in Cambodia's revision of the Forestry Act (Reuters, 2002). However, the implementation of these laws and practices has not always been successfully implemented or adhered to at the local level (Reuters, 2002).
Conservation biology developed and practiced in the United States has a clear goal of maintaining and promoting biodiversity. The term "biodiversity" was introduced as an abbreviation for "biodiversity" by Walter Rosen in 1986. Although Rosen 's original intent is very accurate, according to a survey by American conservation biologists, biodiversity has become a fashion science - it is no longer accurate - definitely ambiguous term "natural" alternative 1996). These differences are important if these concepts of biodiversity are actually quite different and you have to design biodiversity conservation strategies.
Evaluation of biodiversity conservation in Cambodia 1. Introduction Biodiversity conservation in Cambodia has actively responded to international conservation efforts and land degradation and loss over the past few years (International Protection 2004). Multinational NGOs such as the World Bank, international financial institutions and international protection agencies have played an important role in Cambodia's revision of the Forestry Act (Reuters, 2002). However, Chapter 9 on biodiversity and ecosystems is particularly interesting, as chapters on forests in particular live in forest areas and are surrounded by them. And it is really interesting to learn more about forests throughout my life. Even though people think that they are responsible, they still cause a lot of damage. For example, building a road that leads to agricultural trees can increase the erosion and water flow and damage the diversity of ecosystems, possibly damaging the forest (Miller & Spoolman)
