Conformity Vs. Individuality

Lehman Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 quotes this fictional society without personality, but they refuse to argue against integration that is not so is showing. Although not so simple, this civilization will ultimately lead to self-destruction. To support my theory, I remember the reason why the old lady chose to commit suicide because he has no freedom. She feels "slavery" by execution of limited knowledge even if it is "free".

In my Psych 112 course, I learned about a series of experiments of Solomon Asch on integration and personality. In 1951, Solomon Ash designed one of the most classical social psychology experiments at Swarthmore College, with a total of eight students. However, 7 out of the 8 participants were actually members of the experimenter disguised as a participant who is also known as an alliance. The experimenter asked each of the eight participants to choose which of the three lines of the right card would match the line length of the left card. Repeat the same task several times with different cards. The correct answer is obvious. If a participant gave the wrong answer, it is obviously due to team pressure. Group pressure occurs when certain individuals in a group take consistency rather than relying on personality

It is interesting to combine Mill's personality concept with Asch's linear experiment. Both Mill and Asch are faced with integration and personality issues. If Mill is participating in Asch's research, he emphasizes the need to pick the right answer rather than asking others. For Muller it is more important to express a personality as long as it does not harm other parts of society, in which case it will not have a major impact on society. However, when Mill becomes a participant, he may feel uneasy about the pressures of the group and may choose the wrong answer. It is impossible to know, but Mill feels that pressures to be followed may expose him to pressure. Perhaps understanding that pulling between personality and integration will help Mill select exactly

When dealing with human psychology, individualism and integration problems will be considered. Some people place importance on independence and self-sufficiency, while others prefer to fall within a certain range. American society tends to support obedience views mainly due to media influences. Americans ties the idea and strives to be an individual who thinks the media is worthwhile. - ... Power Distance Index (PDI) This dimension represents acceptable and anticipated power distribution. In low-power distance culture, people expect to participate in the decision-making process. Leader's decisions are more democratic, and power and responsibility are shared among people. I can ask questions and talk about my boss's decision. Cultures with high power distances will accept a hierarchical order, each having a place that does not require further proof
