Confession of second-order thinking Recently, I noticed that I was fascinated by Woody Allen's article "random reflection of second-order thinking". I like this title; I can state casual thoughts, but I dislike thought about Allen himself. Personally I do not like him. It is difficult for me to ignore the urge of his animal and tolerate the behavior of adult men who refuse to sleep with his teens. But considering that the latest Hollywood tabloid paper reported that he and his step - daughter / wife just got along well, Allen had some clues about what he did.
Augustine's confession of my paper will analyze the confession of Augustine. I will focus on the first nine chapters of this book. First, I will write an introduction page about Augustine. Secondly, I will explain why Augustine wrote the importance of "confessions" and "confessions" as philosophical works. I analyzed Augustine's view of the god and shows the theme of his book, the God of grace of the Lord, the grace of the Lord of God. I will focus on Augustine's view of the god and his grace.
Confession An autobiographical story takes up the majority of the first nine parts of the Augustine's confession's 13 books, but autobiography is a coincidence event whose main purpose is work. Augustine's "repentance" is a generic term for religious empowerment. Praise God, blame yourself and repent of your faith. This book is a middle-aged man (Augustine wrote c.397 in his 40's) and meditates rich texture about its process and the meaning of his own life. In many ways, this book emphasizes the dichotomy between past Odyssey and authority of the bishop, especially from childhood stories. Expansion of the story of Genesis, it is the end of the debate of the church. From the beginning of life to the beginning of human society
Secondly, repentance is the book of time. The eleventh book is famous for pursuing questions defining time through the Bible and primitive man's trail, and finally defines time as a "compelling mind" - compelling psychology book. Here, Augustine is quoted, praised and rarely directly criticized - his reputation is very wonderful. Sometimes it is an insulting conversation - De Academicis, De beata vita, De ordine - and related works, especially Soliloquia and its works and dissatisfied De immortalitate animae. Augustine and his students, friends and family retired to the country house to reproduce the philosophical leisure of Western Cyprus in the winter when he decided to give up on sexual acts. They will read Virgil in the morning and a philosophical dialogue in the afternoon.
