Confession

This simple phrase from Roman Catholic doctrine is reminiscent of Hollywood's famous confession and dramatic image, but the true root of this sentence is a bit more complicated. I blurred the past. In addition to being seen in contemporary Catholics, confessions of sin and confessions of faith are found in religious activities around the world. The simplest definition by Webster is "written or oral verbal statement created by suspects of crime or suspects of crime" (shelf).

Augustine wrote in his book "Confession" that he intends to plural, and Augustine borrows the Latin vocabulary instead of the word "repent". For him, confession means admission, confession, profession, demonstration, belief in faith, and God's praise. It also means that when a believer accepts the contents of the Bible sins and salvation, they have a sense of unity. Augustine's book registers confessions, testimony or witness in all these ways. In writing his confession, Augustine borrowed Roman and Greek literary forms from meditation written by Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, meditation including personal, philosophical or spiritual reflexes and self. Introspection Augustine also drew a dialogue between the Greek philosopher Plato and Rome 's dialogue with Cicero.

Augustine reflects the purpose of confession. This may be a good point for Augustine to discuss the various meanings of the confession that he uses throughout his work. That word itself comes from the Latin conviction, which means admitting, arguing or praising. Based on this etymology, John O'Meara (The Young Augustine, 2-3) insists that in the confession Augustine used three different but interrelated meanings: confession as peccati confessio laudis and recognition of faith (confessio fidei)

All three confessions happened with confessions. If you want to know both God and the soul, and if you want to know each other best, individual weakness, power and greatness of God are both sides of the same coin. A guilty person places himself in the position of God, confession of sin destroys absurdity. Convicts depreciate the power of God by sacrificing their power; confession of confession restores the position of God in sinners' eyes. Confession of faith declares what happened to the believer community. From this perspective repentance is to protect yourself from the life of sinners. This is prayer itself. The sentence, the prayer on the paper is not a tool of salvation itself, but a painting of the work of redemption of Augustine again.
