School computers use computers as "programmable electronic devices that can store, search and process data" (Merriam - Webster). This tool was once used primarily in homes and offices, but we are entering into our educational system. Technology is a part of growing in today's society. We are beginning to see increasing use of computers in the classroom. Increased use of computers at schools (mainly elementary schools) has increased student learning. The research I studied recognized the importance of technology in education but later studied the teacher's educational background and technical knowledge and the influence they have on the computer and computer integration.
