Comparing Zoroastrianism and Christianity

Zoroastrianism is an ancient religion, the first religion that developed a monotheistic belief system. Zoroastrianism has a great influence on the formation of many religions, more specifically Christianity. For example, both religions believe in dualism. It is the concept of two primitive spirits, good and evil. In Zoroastrianism, the good God is Ahura Mazda and the evil God is Angra Mainyu (Oxtoby, 5). In Christianity, a good god is called a god or a lord, and an evil god is simply called a devil.

Both Judaism and Christianity are influenced by Zoroastrianism. Then Christianity merged with Neopuratonism which was then science of the time, from which it grew rapidly to the mainstream ideology we know today.

The Sasania Empire has many Christian converts in the beginning of its history and is closely related to Christian Syrian branches. The empire was the official Zoroastrianism and insisted on strictly observing this belief. It is to distinguish it from the Roman religion (originally pagan Roman religion, then Christianity). Christianity was accepted in the Sassania Empire and the Sas Christian community developed rapidly as the Roman Empire expelled infiders more and more in the 4th and 6th centuries. By the end of the fifth century AD the Persian church was firmly established and independent of the Roman church. This church has developed to what is now called the Eastern Church today.

The Roman church was separated in 1054. Beginning with Christianity, the Roman church began pursuing the superiority of the church. The reason is the glory of Rome and the Roman Empire. In 1054, the Roman church was separated from other churches, later known as the Roman Catholic Church.
