Comparing Victor Frankenstein and the Monster in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein

Similarity between Frankenstein's Victor and Mary Shelley monster Mary Sherry's Frankenstein, Victor Frankenstein and his monsters are very similar. For example, Victor created a monster like him. Another similarity is that the anger of JVC and monsters is brought about by society. Another similarity between Victor and the monster is that they all become hermits. These characteristics of JVC and monster show that they are very similar.

Frankenstein's monster is often called "Frankenstein" and is a fictitious person who first appeared in Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein, or the modern prometheus. Shelley's title is thus a comparison between Victor Frankenstein, the creator of the monster, and the mythical character Prometheus, which uses clay to shape humans and give them power. In Shelley's Gothic story, Victor Frankenstein made living creatures in his laboratory through ambiguous methods of chemistry and alchemy. Shelly expressed the monster as 8 feet tall (2.4 m) tall, very ugly, sensitive and emotional. The monster tried to blend into human society but it was avoided, and it led him to seek revenge against Frankenstein. According to scholar Joseph Carroll, this monster occupies "the boundary normally defined between the hero and the enemies' characteristics."

In Mary Sherry 's Frankenstein, the main character Victor Frankenstein produced a monster instead of teaching the customs and norms of his monster society, and he gave him up. I believe that acquiring the right habits is intuitive, so Victor wants his monster to succeed in a harsh and critical society without being taught the right behavior. After returning to their laboratory, Frankenstein noticed that he needed the brain and sent his assistant to find it. Due to Fritz 's incompetence, he got the criminal' s brain for the Frankenstein experiment rather than the expected normal experiment. It has the form of "grotesque" and "distorted", but at first it seems to be a simple and innocent individual (Lamb, Kibbler, Hall 1). But he was quickly recognized as a monster
