Edips and Antigone: Did fate decide? Everything is solid. This problem causes intense debate and plagues the scientific community and the literary circle. Fate and prophecies appear in literature, especially in ancient Greek and Roman dramas. Two plays outstanding based on prophecy were Oedipus Rex and Antigone, both written by Sophocles. Sophocles may have raised some aspects of his destiny, but he is doing the right observation of many of fate and destiny. Free will is mere fantasy, time travel depends on it, and probability determines that, I think everything is okay.
King Oedipus: free will or destiny. The common argument that exists today is whether we have free will as seeds or whether there is sacred origin, call it fate, and we can control fate. The same argument applies to King Edps of Cologne and Edips. Is Edips controlling his behavior, or is it predetermined by God? This is the problem that makes Oedipus classical, I believe that many different people have various things. - Oedipus (King of Oedipus) 's fate and free will Will the concept of human fate or freedom in the king of Oedipus determine the outcome of the drama? Both views are strongly endorsed. In ancient Greece, destiny was considered part of life. Every aspect of life depends on fate (Nagle 100). Sophocles takes a direct stance on the entire concept of free will. For human beings, there is a free will to decide on their own what will their lives become. Regarding prophecy and God, humans have the ability to control their lives.
Because nobody can escape fate, free will is an illusion. Despite trying to avoid a certain fate, human beings are still developing around it. This theory was emphasized in Sophocles' works such as "Oedipus the King" and "Antigone". Oedipus, Kryon, Antigone, Tiresias played an important role in the fight of truth and wisdom. Edepus tried to escape from the father 's and mother' s prophecies. - Oedipus, a cursed person You had such a day, it seems everything is not good for you, life does not look even darker than it is now. We all had such a moment, but nothing comparable to the discovery of Oedipus on a terrible day that he was destined to kill his father and marry his mother. The tragic story of this cursed person is spoken in Sophocles' play "Oedipus the King"
