Compare and Contrast of Ernest Hemmingway´s "A Clean Well Lighted Place" and Sandra Cisnero´s "The House on Mango Street"

Older waiters and elderly people feel they are pointless to the world. In the evening, I go out to a bright place such as a cafe and feel comfortable. A young waiter can not understand why older waiters and men get up late and do not want to go home. For example, a young waiter said to an older waiter: "I hope he can return home, I have never slept before 3 o'clock, what time is it to bed?" Hemingway 168). They have different opinions about cafes and their meanings.

The style of Mango Street's Sandra Cisneros in the novel "Mango Street House" is beyond poetry and short stories. The novel is written in an easy-to-read series of poetic episodes. The combination of these unique attributes creates a unique style and structure backbone of Cisneros. This novel is like a poem, so it confuses many critics and readers, but in reality it is a story. Cisneros admits that many episodes are "lazy verses". This means that if she takes time to finish them, she can become a poet (Olivares 145).

The theme of this episode is to rely on men to solve all problems when women can solve their problems completely. My father and their culture prevent her from doing what she likes
