Compare and Contrast: Johann Sebastian Bach and Sergei Rachmaninoff

Johann Sebastian Bach and Sergei Rachmaninov are considered one of the greatest classical music composers in history. Some similarities between Bach and Rachmaninov are obvious, but the difference is obvious. Bach is considered one of the greatest composers of the Baroque era. Rachmaninoff is widely known as one of the best pianists of his time and as one of the last representatives of Russian classical music romanticism as a composer. Their greatest commonalities may be their love and enthusiasm for music and their desire to share with the world.

John Sebastian Bach, born in Eisenach, Germany on March 21, 1685, is the youngest of the church organists John Ambrosius Bach and Elizabeth Ramel Bach.
