In "Historical House" chosen by Anna Green and Catherine Trump, various theories of the 20th century were broken down and each theory was introduced in detail. Historians can use these theories to study certain aspects of history, compare the two theories, and determine the problem solved by each theory. Since all aspects of history are relevant, it is better to adopt a holistic approach to the history of different eras.
The criticism of post colonialism / neo-colonialism is clear in literary theory. The international relations theory defines "post colonialism" as a research field. The permanent impact of cultural colonialism is a central concern, but the intellectual premise of cultural criticism of the new colonial period is economic. Critical International Relations Theory quotes new colonialism, including the postmodern, post colonial, feminist positions, from the Marxist position and the post judicial position. In terms of epistemology and ontology, they are different from realism and liberalism. Neo-liberal approach tends to express contemporary forms of colonialism as a kind of imperialism.
Post colonial feminism began as a critique of Western feminist and post colonial theory, but later became a new analysis method to solve important problems in both fields. Post colonialism, unlike the mainstream post colonial theory, focuses on the impact that colonialism has on the current domestic economic and political systems. Postcolonial feminism also attempts to clarify that Western feminist ideas tend to apply their claims to women around the world as the scope of feminist theory is limited. In this way, the post-colonial feminism tried to explain the post-colonial theory and tried to recognize the weaknesses of Western feminism.
Post colonial feminism is closely related to indigenous movement and broader post colonial theory. It is also closely related to black feminism as both black feminist and post colonial feminist believe that mainstream Western feminism is not enough to explain racial differences. Racial discrimination plays an important role in the discussion of feminism after the colony. Feminist after the colony attempts to solve the existing ethnic conflict and racial discrimination yet aim to incorporate these issues into feminist discourse. Until now, mainstream Western feminism avoided racial issues mostly and put it in a secondary problem behind patriarchal regime. Until recently, race was seen as a problem that white women need to solve.
