"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself by serving others." - Mahatma Gandhi A few years ago, I was surprised to hear the riding course of acquaintances. She is looking for volunteers to help children at the rehabilitation center. I accepted her proposal and thought about how interesting it is to rotate around the horse. Volunteering with my disabled children, horses, physical therapists helped me learn to become more patient with myself and other people.
My mother made me perceive the concept of community service. She told me about its importance; community service places accountability on our elected officials, to repeat or continue our failures in our communities, children, and ultimately future We emphasize the need to concentrate constantly. SJCOE showed us some amazing numbers, it is amazing! In the K-12 public school in San Joaquin County, 145,000 students were enrolled, of which 50.5% were Hispanic. The high school graduation rate in this county is 82%, the decrease in the number of students in the diet plan is high at 62.8%, and only 26.55% of the graduates meet the requirements for entering the University of California or State!
From the experience I moved to the United States at the age of 12, I felt the help of surrounding teachers and friends, so I was able to understand the value, tenderness, service and humility of the community. Thanks to this service motivation, I was able to participate in various leadership projects and service learning activities over the four years that helped to enter Harvard University. When I entered college, I knew that my enthusiasm and participation in services is my competitive advantage.
This average income job tells me that this is not a destination. This is the beginning of a journey of great things and wonderful things. That helped me find my own interest. It takes in my hope, perseverance and courage and tells us to repay to the society that helped me grow. As far as all these things are concerned, there are few like us in our lives. Finally, the last sentence. Famous, influential and successful people who once lived in this world did not claim they did what they wanted to do. They have a lot of regrets. They look down on most of us (so-called failed people) and make us jealous of having "things" they do not have. The extinction of this "something" is an endless journey.
