Community Book Club

I was very successful at Troy Davis Community Book Club! In collaboration with more than 20 inspiring co-sponsors, 45 different books were discussed in 20 states. The community book club was an experimental approach designed to combine the teachers of preschoolers' parents who originally participated in the first reading of the first project and the professional development of family culture. We collected data from 11 book club meetings over two years. The conference was held in a local church, and at each meeting we talked about two books for children of the same theme as a novel / adult book. We interviewed participants, video conference, gathering live notes, and saving attendance records. Data analysis begins at the first meeting and continues through the project.

Interests, how they are participating in the book club, and the value of the book club for themselves and the community. In a subsequent interview, we asked participants to share how they participated in community book clubs and how they affected their family's literacy habits and reading experiences at children's schools. Data analysis began at the first meeting and continued throughout the project. After each book club, researchers immediately discussed various aspects of the meeting and pointed out how participants responded to concrete changes. For example, we reviewed the local records and identified the participants to be interviewed. We have coded the data from all sources. Identify the new topic, check the video again, and encode the episode with a new theme. Early emergency themes include demonstrations to read and talk books, changes in how members join book clubs, improve family literacy rates, and an increase in the number of members.

We, our community book club participants teachers, guardians, and community members develop new literacy habits during the book club meeting and influence the family's literacy habits reported by the members I found out with time. Our experience shows that Book Clubs can promote books and promote the practice of improving literacy rates for teachers, families and wider community members. On Thursday night, 90 children, women, and men enter Pilgrim mountain church. This group is bigger than most night churches and rarely attracts over 40 members of this community. Tonight, the members no longer use the Bible and the songbook, but instead have Bud Not Buddy (Curtis, 2004) and Brown Angels (Myers, 2005) and they are participating in the 10th Project Core Community Book Club.
