In the first half of the 19th century, many changes occurred in traffic and communication. Improvement of the steam engine was invented in the second half of the 18th century and supported many changes in transportation. Ships can use steam engines instead of relying on wind and muscle forces. This increased the speed and reliability of transportation, and many canals were built in the United Kingdom and the United States. The second major change in steam engines is the development of railways. Both the canal and the railroad are faster and reliable transporting people and things than the previous route. In other words, manufacturing concentrates on the town where labor is concentrated, raw materials are shipped to the factory, and finished products can be delivered promptly and cheaply. It also led to the centralization of product production.
In the first half of the 19th century, where was the change in traffic and communication changed the economic outlook?
Several factors brought the emergence of American industrialization in the late 1800 's. New technologies such as steam engine, railway, telegraph and the like make communication and transport easier. Many local companies are state-owned companies because it is easy to procure and ship materials to various parts of the country. Through innovation in the workplace such as assembly line production methods, these companies can produce products on a large scale. In the late nineteenth century, the wave of new industrialization spread in the United States. Several factors have spurred this technical move. Initially, several new technologies were rapidly developed and improved rapidly. All railway, steam engine, telegraph line and internal combustion engine became easy to obtain. I feel more and more Americans rely on industrial technology for communication, economic and social activities.
