"White City Devil" is a literary non-fiction novel, centering around the Expo in Chicago. Subtitle of "White City Devil" is "Change of murder, magic, madness at American Fair". As Erik Larson said very vividly, the show did exactly that. From the way electricity is distributed to families, until cultural icons and amusement parks, until the time we work and the days of the week. There is a short but attractive relationship between today's fair inventions and other inventions.
The sociological aspect of Eric Larson's "devil of white city" and "devil of white city" is a mixture of two stories that are generally well integrated. Together these stories convey the true global meaning of good and evil themes. Good and evil can be seen throughout the novel, even in the most obvious places like titles. Good and evil, dark and light, they all represent the same thing. White is usually found to be pure and good. The author named the book "its devil of white city" by that author and he tried to tell the reader that the novel is about evil in truly pure places.
