It is often the result of our own cultural value whether we color the classical ancient (or never lose color) how we do. Before the ancient color exhibition was held at Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlungung in Frankfurt, art historian Max Hollein pointed out that in the 21st century the concept of "pure marble white ancient" is common. The influential communicator of this lie was Johann Joachim Winckelmann (who died in 1768). His two ancient art history, Geschichte der Kunst des Alterthums, is very popular in Europe and helps to define the art history we know today. They also continued to establish the famous apollo white marble statue that Belvedere is a symbol of beauty.

A colorful image? For us, the classical ancient means white marble. This is not the case for Greeks who thought of their gods with vivid colors and drew them that way. Temples that house them are also colored like powerful stage equipment. Due to time and weather, most of the tones have been removed. Over the centuries people will become clearer that they pretend that color is almost unimportant. White marble has become standard since the Renaissance since classical artifacts first appeared on Earth. The sculpture of two sons who were discovered in Rome in 1509 and now found at the Vatican Museums, the Trojans Priest Lao Kohn and their snakes were said to be one of the earliest discoveries. The artists of the 16th century did not understand this, they just faced. Michelangelo and other people imitate what they think are ancient aesthetics and keep most of the stones of their statues in their natural colors.

For centuries scientists have studied the physiological effects of specific colors. In addition to aesthetics, color is the creator of emotions and associations. The meaning of color varies with culture and environment. This is the reason why you see a black and white fashion store. They want to look elegant and noble
