Colonization of Malaysia

In the early 20th century, British people of modernization and colonial era brought multi-ethnic immigrants to Malaya. Malaysia is defined as a multiethnic country including Malaysia, Chinese, Indian and others. In the colonial era, multi ethnic groups lived separately. Most of the people living in the country are Malaysians, both Chinese and Indians living in this city. Murray ethnic groups depend heavily on the environment. Tanah Melayu was first colonized by Portuguese and British. Meanwhile, it was named "Mary" and when the country became independent from British rule in 1957, it became the "Malaya Commonwealth". In six years later in 1963, the Malaysian peninsula joined Singapore, North Borneo and Sarawak, and they were collectively called "Malaysia". But two years later, Singapore became an independent country, so Malaysia we know today includes the Malay Peninsula, North Borneo and Sarawak.
